SNOW DAY

Let's see... A week ago we had an ICE day. The boys had no desire to go out and play! Mainly because there was nothing on the ground to really pick up.

Well, I watched the ten o'clock news, and there was a chance that we might get a SMALL something! That SMALL something turned into ANOTHER day out of school, but this time it was pretty and atleast looked like we should have been out of school.

The boys were ready to go as soon as they woke up because I told them it may go away soon. It had started raining here. We got bundled up with three layers, a good thick jacket, and our rainboots and headed out! By the time we got outside the rain had turned to either freezing rain/sleet/hail. We all got an umbrella and took off anyways. We played in the front yard. The boys tried to make snow angels. They rolled down our hill in the front. Then we took off walking to the train tracks where they had a snowball fight.

It was so fun! I enjoy these moments with my boys. As I took pictures, I was thinking about pictures for their senior pages! :( We really missed having Ray at home today! :(

We are all in our warm pjs now with the clothes drying and a fire going! =)

Hoopin' it up

Gavin decided to play basketball again this year at the boys and girls club. One of his best buddies Evan is on his team, and he has been super excited about it. Some of his other buddies are on opposing teams! (You can imagine how that goes.) He got a basketball goal for Christmas and wants to shoot all the time. We can really see improvement in him. He is really good on defense - a great rebounder, not really an offensive threat although he has made a few points. We are proud of you Gavin!

Gage's 4th Birthday!

Gager's 4th birthday party at the movies! He was so stinkin' cute as we sang to him! Gage's birthday is the day after Christmas; it was so special this year because we got to have Gage's party on his actual birthday. It is so hard having a Christmas baby and trying to work in his birthday, but it was perfect this year. Gage wanted to see the movie Alvin and the chipmunks the skeaqueal, so we had his party at the movies. He told me exactly who he wanted to invite to his party. It was the cutest thing. We are so thankful to everyone that came to make Gage's day so special. There were 14 kids there and 17 adults. Gage was so excited about everything: his guests, his presents, his cupcakes, and the movie! Their little party room was perfect for cupcakes and presents. Then all the kids got snack packs, and we headed off to the movie. The movie was too cute! Everyone seemed to really like it!

Gager, we cannot believe that you four! It just seems like yesterday when you were born! You are such a joy and light in our lives! We love you so much! Momma, Daddy, and Gav
